Do you provide a health guarantee?

Yes, in our contract we provide a two-year genetic health warranty.

Will my puppy be dewormed, vaccinated, and vet-checked?

Yes, our puppies are put on a deworming schedule. They will receive their first round of vaccinations and will be checked by our vet before they go home.

Do you have health testing on your dogs?

Yes. Feel free to ask us more questions if this is something you are concerned about.

How do I proceed in getting a puppy from you?

1. Fill out the form to join our email list.

2. Watch your email and our social media for news regarding upcoming litters.

3. When you receive an email announcing an upcoming litter and the date we will start accepting deposits, mark it on your calendar.

4. Place your deposit for a puppy on the date we start accepting deposits for that litter to ensure you will have one of the first picks of the litter.

5. When we receive your deposit, we will confirm that your puppy is reserved and which “pick of the litter” you have!

6. When the puppies are ~4 weeks old and their personalities have started to emerge, you are invited over to our house to pick out which specific male or female puppy will be yours (our Puppy Visit Day).

7. Take your puppy home a few weeks later when it has been adequately socialized, weaned off mom, and is ready to handle transition!

Can I get a puppy from you even if I am not local to Central Illinois?

Yes, we are open and willing to hand-deliver a puppy anywhere in the United States. Please contact us if this is something you are potentially interested in.

How can I prepare for puppy ownership?

We recommend all of our puppy families to buy the Baxter & Bella Online Puppy School Lifetime Membership. It includes a course called “Preparing for my Puppy” that covers what items to buy, how to prep your house, how to work on crate training and potty training, and much, much more! What comes with my puppy?

We will give you a copy of your puppy’s health record, free 30-day pet insurance, a blanket that smells like mom/siblings, and a puppy pack with fun “extras” like toys and treats.

What is your pricing?

Our pricing is not set in stone; we set the price at the time that we anticipate a litter based on the current pricing of comparable responsible breeders and the kind of puppies we will have (F1 vs. F1b; Medium vs. Mini).
